He was born in 1981 in Mosonmagyaróvár. His adoration for music determined his childhood. He was an enthusiastic and persistent listener of Partyzone programme of Music Television, there he heard the real undergruond dance music at first. The idea, that he could show his favourite music for a wider circle, emerged in him at the end of primary school. Due to lack of financial resources his first audio-mixer was a home-made one, he started mixing with MC-s and later CD-s, got to knoe the science of mixing. That time chose he the Toto Jr nick, that was used till 2003. In 1997 he was a resident in a club in Mosonmagyaróvár. He played vocal house tracks recorded from the german station Evosonic FM.
The great breakthrough was in 1999 when he bought his first two record-players with the support of his parents. He holds on to them fanatically nowadays too. That time his style fully turned to house, Dj Sneak, Les Rhytmes Digital and Cavin Fisher records usually took place in his first sets.
In 2000 he organised at first time his own club event, the Deep Vision Night, which has been still working, and this year got to know the really- innovative-that time progressive sounding, which determines his style int he next few years. This period was characterised by dirty funky, deep dark American house and made this era more diverse by cool tribals
His line-up, called Fülpiszkáló, first sounded on the local commercial radio station in 2002, which was the result of collaboration with Gyurma, his fellow. Thanks to this line-up he could build up good relations and friendships with the Hungarian DJs which earned him a lot later.
From 2003 his sounds are continously deep house, and he turned towards the house style in classical meaning, and int he same time the minimal sound started to appear in his sets , which is in favour up to now and which has been grown into the most progressive and remarkable style. He started to mix minimal- with deep house, which sounds as a strange fusion, mostly in his mix-records, vinyls he can surprise the listener up to now. At the end of the year he changed his stage-name Toto Jr. to Tolnai.
In 2004 he started playing lounge and downtempo public and then he got the invitation to the first Strictly Yacht, there he indulged the audience in the morning hours with his gentle deep house sets.
In 2006 he played in higher –level places than he used to, spinning his discs with more and more famous DJs. His style has been significantly cleared up by now,

He opened his eyes onto our world in 1986, in Mosonmagyaróvár. At the age of 10 he received Marusha’s first album from his friend, which was considered really modern delicacy that time. He started to feel to be a prisoner of electronic music so very early age.
He attended secondary school in Sopron, just at that time when the progressive music wave started to appear in Hungary as well. This town has been pioneering in amusing electronic music fans up to now, so not surprisingly he was fascinated by the colourful life of parties. By then he was seriously experienced by Global Underground mix records, with Deep Dish, Danny Tenaglia, or Dave Seamen’ s publications on the front.
Paralelly with the slow overturn of progressive, he got to be familiar with and like the cologne miniline, reforming underground dance music. One of his great favourites from the best minimal field are Richie Hawtin, Magda, Konrad Black, or the Russian Anton Kubikov. Soon he was attracted by the slowed down world of dubstep, besides minimal.
Thank to an unexpected meeting with Tolnai, Tom became a host of Earpick programme in 2006. Soon revealed, that their interest are very similar, their views about modern, demanding cultural amusement are similar, consequently Tom strenghtened the Deep Vision Night team further on as an organiser and commercial referent.
After a longlasting illness, he died unexpectedly in the autumn of 2007. He spent several happy hours during his Earpick and DVN membership, he loved his job, and he completed his tasks always conscientiously. Immediately after his joint he took care about DVN and the radio programme, spending a lot of time, making sacrifices for the project’s succes. Unfortunately nobody thought, that he would not be able to see the results of his work…
Tom will be kept in our memory on as the eternal member of Deep Vision Night.
